I don't often do "face of the day" posts but I was really happy with the makeup I wore to the Hamilton Fashion Week, Gala Fashion Show and I thought I would show you what products I used to create it. I used a few tried and true favourites and few new discoveries that I have become quite attached to.
Beginning with the base, I primed my skin with the L'oreal Magic Lumi Face Primer and then applied the Covergirl Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation using a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I've really fallen in love with this combination, they layer beautifully and the sponge really helps to achieve an airbrush finish. I then used the Almay Concealer & Brightener for under the eyes and the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer for redness and blemishes. I set everything with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light and followed with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer for some subtle contouring. I finished off the cheeks with The Balm Frat Boy Blush and the Benefit Watts Up Highlighter.
Next, I filled in my eyebrows using the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Caramel and then set them using the Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/Medium. I chose to use my Stila In The Light Palette for my eyes, using the shade Bliss all over the lid, Sunset in the crease and Kitten as the highlight. Next up, came the star of the show, the new Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner. I wanted to have quite a big wing with a big impact so this was the perfect product to use. I followed that up with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara for big glamorous lashes. To finish off the look I used my new obsession, Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Primrose.
