Hey Beauties!
Out of the endless array of beauty products that exist today, almost every woman says the same thing when asked the question - what is your number one "can't live without" product? - mascara! No matter who they are, what they do or where they live every woman feels like a few coats of mascara can set them up for success, even without any other makeup.
Well, I can't help but agree however, I know that not every mascara is made equal. Not every mascara will give you that instant wide-awake, doe-eyed effect with a formula designed to withstand any possible situation.
Some mascaras just don't live up to the cause and none of us want to deal with the letdown every morning. Luckily, we don't have to!
L'Oreal Legends
I have long been a big (more like mahoosive) fan of the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara range, with their classic Voluminous Original and Carbon Black Mascaras being a constant must have in my collection. Over the years I have added every new release to my list of favourites - because L'Oreal just seems to ace each and every one - but this time they have seriously outdone themselves and released the best mascara I have tried in AGES.
Launching Lashes into Paradise
L'Oreal's newest innovation comes in the Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara ($9.99 USD/$13.99 CAD - 0.25oz), a truly incredible mascara that will take your lashes to the next level of heavenly.
Pretty in pink, this beauty boasts fanned out, feathery lashes with the triple threat of intense volume, illegal length and dramatic curl. The smooth glide formula provides silky, sultry volume in 1 coat and ultimate drama in 2 with thickened, separated lashes.
Drier than the average formula, it adheres to each and every lash and combined with the hourglass shaped brush that has more than 200 bristles, it catches even the smallest of lashes to disperse the maximum amount of product. This means no lash is left behind, they are all captured for a full fringe effect.
The incredible adhesion means there is no flaking, smudging or fading but lashes remain soft to the touch and hold their shape all day long.
The Dupe Down-low
From the frosted pink tube and the curvy shaped bristles to the dry formula and full, dramatic effect, Lash Paradise has been hailed a dupe for the ever popular Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. While I agree on the similarities and I agree that if you are looking for the closest option that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, this is it.
I don't consider this a dupe, solely for the fact that I 100% think L'Oreal has outdone Too Faced and a "dupe" signifies something of lesser quality. If you are searching for a mascara that will give you bombshell, glam lashes then buy a tube of Lash Paradise not Better Than Sex. The formula is superior and the price is unbeatable.
