Happy September! Can you believe summer is almost over? It certainly is here! Fall weather has already started to roll in and I am feeling the anticipation of cosy sweaters and hot chocolates! I could go on and on but I think I'll just get right in to my August favourites!
August was an exciting month for me, I feel like I found a lot of inspiration and I can see the change in my content. However, I did not buy any beauty products in August but really fell in love with a few gems in my collection.
Starting off, I have been loving the L'oreal True Match foundation, it is such a beautiful, lightweight base with medium coverage and a glowy finish. The shade is an absolutely perfect match and I love that the bottle has a pump. I wish L'oreal would bring this packaging over to Canada. Another base favourite is the Maybelline Dream Wonder powder. I have been really enjoying the sort of blurred effect it gives to your skin. For eyes, I have been using the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze almost everyday. It is such an easy look that I can do in seconds. For lips, I have been obsessed with both the Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Ripe Raspberry and the Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in 14. The Pixi balm lives in my handbag and is my favourite fuss free lip product, it provides great hydration but also packs a punch of colour. For a more thought out look, I am loving the darker brownish nude tone of the Rimmel lipstick.
Lastly, I am loving my little Tres Chic pouch from Forever 21. I noticed it on the website a couple of weeks ago but it sold out and I have been lusting after it since. I finally found it at my local store and snapped it right up. I like to keep all of my handbag essentials inside and it makes it so much easier to switch bags.
