On those tricky days when you just can't figure out what makeup to wear, a red lip and cat eye are my go-tos. There is just something so intrinsically classic about that combination - it is chic, sleek and it goes with absolutely everything. A bright red lip also has the power to completely transform a bad day into a beautiful one.
At the moment, my favourite red lip comes in the form of a Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Love That Red from the Revlon by Marchesa Red Carpet Collection. This limited edition collection was released in March and it featured Nail Enamel, Nail Appliques, Lipsticks, Liquid Liner, Powder and a range of beauty tools. The cosmetic collection is housed in absolutely stunning packaging with a black and gold lace pattern, while the beauty tools come in a similar black and blush pattern.
When it comes to the lipstick itself, we are all familiar with the Super Lustrous formula; incredibly creamy, moisturizing and lasts for hours but the shade is the absolute winner. Love That Red is an intense fire engine red with hints of golden shimmer, in one word - stunning.
There is nothing greater than a good red lip and this beauty has become my first choice for any occasion. Luckily, Love That Red is a permanent shade in the Revlon Super Lustrous line so if you can't find the Marchesa collection at your local drugstore, you can at least pick up the shade!
