The Instant Wipeout Masks are dual sided pore cleansing masks that retail for $42 CAD/$32 USD for a box of 8. Keeping with the undercover spy theme of the POREfessional range, they come in an adorable metallic briefcase and inside are 8 "case files" in which each individual mask resides.
How They Work
The Instant Wipeout Masks are designed to target all of your problem areas in one swoop, drawing out dirt and debris and unclogging pores while keeping skin hydrated and smooth. Unlike most traditional pore targeting products that tend to dry out and strip your skin, the Instant Wipeout Masks are gentle and comfortable but effective.
These masks are made from a special textured fabric that is woven from cotton fibres to be gentle on skin and to exfoliate almost like a cloth or a towel. Each mask is double sided with one smooth side and one textured side, each with their own purpose.
The mask is saturated with a super strength, pore clarifying serum that soaks into the pores when applied. It features mushroom extract which is a natural clarifying agent that has the ability to reach deep down, unclog pores and kill bacteria without sucking moisture from the skin.
The masks are shaped to fit in a number of places on the face like along the cheeks, over the chin or on the forehead. They are large enough to cover an entire section of the face at one time or can be cut up to use in more than one place at once.
How To Use
To use these multitasking masks you need to follow these steps.
1. Activate - press firmly on the bubble to release serum and fully saturate mask.
2. Apply - peel apart package, remove mask and apply SMOOTH side to pore problem areas.
3. Wait - after 10 minutes take off mask and flip over. Use the TEXTURED side to gently remove excess product while exfoliating in circular motions.
4. Finish - do not rinse away excess, simply pat any left over into the skin.
What Do I Think?
The dual purpose aspect of this mask is what makes it so fantastic. The serum itself is amazing, it really digs deep down and gets everything out of your pores without damaging them or drying them out.
The serum will clear out your pores, make them feel cleaner and look smaller but the textured side will up the ante by smoothing your skin and removing dead, dry skin. This combo will leave your skin feeling clean,refreshed and smooth and much healthier than the traditional pore mask.
The Benefit Cosmetics Instant Wipeout Masks have completely changed the way I look at pore-clearing products. While I have always loved a good clay mask and I have been known to use a classic pore strip, I now know that it is possible to get the same effects without damaging my skin in the process.
I love that the Instant Wipeout Masks remove all of the gunk that we all hate but they do it in a much gentler and healthier manner. They don't dry up and cling to our skin, they don't burn or feel harsh, they just get the job done with good ingredients and an awesome tingly, cooling sensation.
