Happy Wedding Wednesday! Time is flying by and the big day is only 275 days away! Planning is well underway and progress is being made. We have booked our florist and our decorator, we have picked our cake and I have found the dress!
With only 9 months left, we are buckling down and getting all of our ducks in a row. The first task on my list was to get our Save the Dates sent out for guests that will be coming from out of town.
I knew that I wanted to order them online and after doing plenty of research and reading reviews, I decided upon Minted.
Minted is an online print & stationery company that provides everything you could need from artwork & business cards to menus, invitations and thank you cards. I really enjoyed the variety and vast amount of options that Minted offered and the fact that each template is designed by an artist and part of the credit and profits goes directly to that artist.
Their Save The Date selection is pretty incredible with hundreds of designs that you can order in postcards, magnets, booklets or traditional cards. Once you choose a template it can be fully customized with colours, images, text and even paper type. You can even order a personalized sample before committing to the final copy.
We ended up choosing a simple postcard design with one of our incredible engagement photos (see all of them here) on the front. The Meet In The Middle design has very simple typography on the front and comes with two options for the back - a photo or simple text. We choose to include a photo as well as a link to our wedding website.
When they arrived they completely blew my expectations out of the water. The paper is really thick, the colours are rich and the quality is amazing. We couldn't be happier with the way they came out and everyone who has received them has had nothing but great compliments to say. We are even thinking of ordering our invitations now!
Minted is a really fantastic website that provides an incredible array of options, templates, designs and formats for just about anything you could need for a wedding.
