Hey Beauties!

Concealer is definitely one of my favourite and most used makeup products. It comes in so many forms, can be used in a million different ways and let's be honest it can cover a multitude of sins. Who doesn't want that?

When you have a good army of concealers on hand you can say bye-bye to dull, tired eyes, skin discolouration, blemishes, dark spots, uneven brows, bleeding lipstick and patchy eye shadow. However, not all concealers are made equal and it can be difficult to find the perfect match for every woe.

Benefit Cosmetics has long been a member of my concealer army, with the iconic Erase Paste being a staple in my collection (the perfect match for healing blemishes) so I was absolutely thrilled and intrigued when I found out that they had completely revamped and re-imagined their concealer range!

Benefit Cosmetics obviously understands the need to build up that army and they are ready to equip you with the perfect match for every concealing quandary!

The NEW Boi-ing Concealing Collection takes all of Benefit's top-selling concealers (like Erase Paste, Lemonade and Fake Up) and gives them a head to toe makeover for a cohesive, organized range with fun school themed packaging!

The range not only includes some of your favourite classics (only with new looks and new names) but it also introduces the new kid in class all coming in at only $27 CAD each!

First up is the newest addition to the family - The Airbrush Concealer is described as a real-life retouch. It is a lightweight, super creamy concealer with sheer to buildable medium coverage and a flawless, soft focus finish that is virtually undetectable.

It melts into the skin seamlessly, concealing darkness and uneven tones while also blurring and smoothing the appearance of pores, fine lines and texture. It's almost like a filter for the face as it becomes one with the skin, blends out like a dream and doesn't cake, crease or crack.

The Airbrush Concealer as well as the rest of the Boi-ing Collection comes in 3 shades - 1, 2, and 3 that translate to light, medium and deep. The shades have a great neutral undertone that suits a variety of skin tones but I do think the range is not wide enough.

Shade 1 is actually darker than my skin tone so I need to make sure I am compensating with a darker foundation. It means I don't have the ability to highlight with my concealer as I normally would but I love to use these on my casual makeup days.

Meet the Industrial Strength Concealer which used to be known as Erase Paste. This beauty has been a firm favourite for as long as I can remember as my heavy duty, blemish hiding, spot concealing secret weapon.

It is a full coverage cream with a thicker consistency that still manages to melt into the skin easily. It is designed to cover heavy duty dark circles and blemishes but can also be used to carve out the brows or clean up messy lip lines.

When set with powder, this matte finish concealer locks into place and will resist water, sweat and light smudging for up to 10 hours.

It also comes in shade 1, shade 2, and shade 3.

Meet the Brightening Concealer otherwise known as the classic Lemonade, but in my opinion this is a much improved revival. A brightening under eye concealer is a must have in my collection and a staple in my routine but Lemonade never filled the bill for me. The new version ticks every box!

It's a full coverage, ultra creamy corrector with the perfect range of peachy tones to counteract darkness, brighten dullness and fight discolouration. This concealer blends into the skin easily while packing enough pigment to cover any darkness you might want to hide. It melts seamlessly but doesn't disappear as you work with it, additionally it layers beautifully as you top it off with a concealer.

The Brightening Concealer also comes in a Shade 1, 2 and 3 but they are not skin coloured, rather they are varying depths of peach which is the colour correcting shade for darkness.

Lastly, meet the Hydrating Concealer previously known as Fake Up. A one of a kind product that features a moisturizing ring surrounding a concealer core.

This concealer is designed to be used under the eyes to hide dark shadows and correct discolouration while also hydrating dry skin and plumping up fine lines. It has a sheer amount of coverage but still carries a decent amount of pigment. It's a really wonderful option for just swiping on when you're running out the door or for when you have a bout of particularly dry under-eyes.

The Hydrating Concealer also comes in 3 shades and you can visibly see how hydrating they are!

Overall Thoughts

Benefit Cosmetics has really got you covered with the Boi-ing Concealing Collection. There is an option for every need and every possible woe so you are bound to find a new favourite in this range. I personally love the Brightening Concealer and the Industrial Strength Concealer with the Airbrush Concealer making frequent appearances in my routine.

They are all wonderfully creamy and they simply melt into the skin so they look incredibly natural. I do wish they would expand the shade range and come out with a fairer option!

Make sure to check out the Boi-ing Collection next time you find yourself in concealer emergency! You can even try all 4 for a fraction of the price with the Boi-ing Erase Case ($35 CAD)

You can find these concealers for $27 CAD at Sephora, Shoppers Drug Mart, Ulta & Benefit.com
