I am a very lucky girl and I have an amazing man in my life who likes to treat me to little surprises all year round. Last week, he decided to let me pick anything in Sephora for a little pick me up and after lots of back and forth (because it's impossible to pick just one thing!) I chose this amazing little set from Fresh Beauty!
I have wanted to try the Fresh Beauty skincare line for the longest time, I have heard such amazing things about their products but I have huge reservations with shelling out a lot of money for skincare when I can buy 3 lipsticks for the price of a cleanser. The holiday season is a dream come true for my inexpensive needs because the best skincare brands come out with amazing sample sizes and Fresh always has amazing sets.
The Skincare Heroes gift set retails for $72 CAD and has a $96 value. It features four of Fresh's best selling products including all of the essentials you need to cleanse, treat and moisturize your skin.
Inside a gorgeous silver and blue embossed box with a big black bow are the Soy Face Cleanser, the Rose Face Mask, the Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream and the Sugar Lip Treatment. The lip balm is full size and the rest are deluxe sample sizes that are perfect for travel or just for testing out each product without the massive commitment.
The Soy Face Cleanser included is 1.7oz and retails for $19 while the full size is 5.1oz and retails for $45. It's an extra gentle cream cleanser that pioneered the use of soy in the beauty industry. It is packed with soy proteins which are rich in amino acids. They support moisture retention, giving skin the appearance of elasticity and firmness. Rosewater balances and tones, cucumber extract calms and borage seed oil nourishes the skin. It is fragrance and soap free.
The Rose Face Mask included is 1oz while the full size is 3.4oz and retails for $72. The Sugar Lip Treatment is a full size at 0.15oz and retails at $26. The bestselling lip balm comes in 13 flavours but this set comes with the original clear option. It blends oils and waxes with real sugar which is a natural humectant meaning it attracts moisture. Black currant oil is rich in fatty acids that help to cushion the lips while antioxidant grape seed and Vitamins A, C and E provide protection from free radicals. It has a light citrus scent and has no petroleum, mineral oil or lanolin.
